I have a list of around 8-9 jpg images that comprise of a web comic. The images are all around 800px wide and range from 9900px-11000px long (there is also one image in there that is 1140x875 that serves as a title image that may be causing issues).

I'm trying to convert these images into a PDF programatically but it seems that no matter what command I use there are very large white spaces on the Y axis between the images. I sometimes have this issue with standard sized manga but its far less pronounced and noticeable. Is there anything that can be done to remedy this?

I have never seen this problem. Can you upload sample images that would let me reproduce this issue?
