83ba112abb Fix chroot internal symlinks path 
This patch makes sure ${ROOTDIR} is always an absolute path. This
is requested for the absolute symlink conversion step to work
properly.

In good UNIX tradition is it possible to do
  foo > /dev/null
to make foo silent and get only the error messages of foo

For polystrap should that also be possible.
